0.7% of the richest adults accumulate 48% of the world’s wealth. In addition to this, 30% of the world’s richest adults accumulate 97% of the world’s wealth. It sounds absurd when you hear it, and I was a bit taken aback when I typed this. To help ease this fact, here’s an example of how rich some people are. Jeff Bezos, now the world’s wealthiest man with a rounded net worth of 105$ billion, could give 14$ to 7.5 billion people. One man could give 14 dollars to every person on Earth (and when including the gap inbetween 7.442 and 7.5, he would still have enough money left to live without working).
