Political Views - Fabricio Guerra

Political Views
All people have different political views. Sure they might identify with a certain political party, but their ideologies are all different because they are all different people. These political views are very important because they heavily influence political choices, which affect the lives of hundreds of millions of people. Usually, these views are influenced by people's lives, what happens to them, and what surrounds their lives. The first political view influence I want to to talk about is education. When people have a poor education, they'll most of the time want to have a better education or at least an education that is sufficient enough to help them through their adult life. Being poorly educated can also leave you vulnerable to deception by political figures and they can trick you into thinking that you don't need a better education. Income or family income is another subject that influences political views. If you were to have a lower than average income then you would probably want fewer taxes and a higher wage. Different regions have different political views. More rural areas like the south and southeast would prefer a directed attention to agriculture and more farmlands, but places such as the northeast coast and central west coast would want more directed attention towards urbanization and infrastructure. With different regions also comes different racial groups. If you were a minority or an immigrant then you would want a political party that goes against racism and discrimination. With different racial groups also come different religions, and the most prominent one in the United States is Christianity (and it has been that for more than 200 years). Christians usually oppose abortion so they would want a party that also opposes abortion. Other people such as atheists don't mind abortion so they would favor a party that has would favor abortion. Finally, the last topic I want to topic about is Sex and Gender. if you are a woman and recognize the discrimination and wage gap difference you experience then you would want to have a party that favors making laws to abolish the wage gap and make that discrimination illegal. Now for the last thing, I want to state that I am quite liberal, and if my political views were different from what they are then I think that it's obvious I would have different political choices. Compare that to my political close-mindedness and you would find that I would very much stick to that political view and not change it or think about switching my views.
