Level of Education
I think the level of education I have affects my political choices because of the amount of information I have. I don't know a lot about politics, but I know enough to be able to make make decisions about whether I'm a liberal or republican and who I would vote for. I also know enough to be able to find out the platforms and values of candidates. I have a bit of research on some bills that are in the process of trying to get passed, as well. Personally, I think that the more educated you are in regards to politics and in general, the more infromed your desion.
Family Income
I think that family income does have an affect on political choices. The people with less money are going to vote for a candidate that has a platform for helping the poor get jobs or supporting more government housing. However, there are two choices that the rich could make. The first one would be to choose the candidate that wants to help the poor, and the second would be the candidate that doesn't want to help the poor. The reason I a candidate would not want to help the poor, and this could also be a reason for teh rich to choose this candidate, is because tax money is used to provide things like stipents and government housing. These things raise taxes, which rich people won't like. I know that for me, I have a hard time choosing between these two views because I like helping people, but I don't think a raise in taxes is good for anyone.
Region of the U.S.
For me personally, the region of the U.S. I am in does not have an affect on my political choices. I make my choices based on what I believe in compared to what the people I am hearing and learning about believe in, which I feel is how most people make their political desicions. I think that the only way the region of the U.S. that I'm in could have an affect on my political choices would be how many people share my views.
Racial Group
I do think that racial group has a large affect on my political choices. I have different views and needs than people of other racial groups, and that makes perfect sense to me. An example of this would be how in the past, and still today even, African American people face predjudice to some degree. Because of this, the two racial groups are going to vote for different candidates.
Religion
Religion doesn't really cross my mind when I am making political desicions. Since I am not religous, I don't base my political views and choices off of religion. I instead base my choices and views off of my morals and what issuses and/or groups I advocate for.
Sex
I think my sex does play a role in my political choices in a way. Since I am a girl, I do support women's rights and gender equality. I also support equal pay and job oppurtunities between men and women.
