Technology
In war technology is one of the most useful assets in taking down your enemy. Although I am not sure if you know this but in 1500s there was really no forms of technology. Though at this time some countries and civilization had been luck enough to discover and be able to use steel and then what came from steel was guns. A man named Francisco Pizarro a Spanish Conquistador had led a group of 160ish men. At this time the Conquistadors had been lucky enough to harness the power of steel, guns and most importantly horses. So when Pizarro decided that is would be a good idea to send his 160ish men into battle to go against the Incas 80,000. So originally Pizarro thought that this fight would be a massive struggle (I mean no duh) but due to the technology that Pizarro and his men had they were able to over through the Incas empire. During this fight the most useful assets were actually not the guns because, at the time they only had twelve and they were extremely inaccurate  and took forever to reload. The most use fell assets was actually the horses, due to the Incas having never seen horses in their life, when they saw the massive beasts running full speed right at them you can imagine the fear that was put into the Incas, but also it allowed the conquistadors to move around quickly. So that is how technology was used to over through the Incas.
