Climate Change

       The article I read was about America's Climate Report. Which was actually really interesting, so apparently every four years there is this scientific report which Congress mandates. Then after they analyze it, the report goes to federal agencies then goes to our president (Donald Trump). This report is published by the National Climate Assessment and this articles tells the reader about the most current climate changes in America.
       So apparently the climate report isn't looking great. Shocking, I know. Isn't it crazy ignoring the problem didn't change anything? The 2014 report indicted in the years after their would be: temperatures are still getting higher (aka wild fires), America' sea levels are still rising (flooding), As well as, the weather being very bi polar. Now tell me, have we experienced these changes in the past years? Crazy! the report was actually right? Global Warning is a thing?! What!
       The best part of this article is they are actually UNDERSTANDING Global Warning is a thing! It says the military is concerned and the government is actually trying to come up with alternative way to help with the environment! That is really amazing to read but... the chance of this being true is so low for me, at least.
        When I started reading this article and I read the very first sentence I ROLLED MY EYES. I knew this article was going to give me a headache but knowing myself of course I went with this article. If you are curious of what the first sentence was it was "Global warming is now affecting the United Staes more than ever, and the ricks of future disasters --- from flooding along the coasts crop failures in the Midwest --- could pose a profound threat to Americans' well-being." I KNOW. Shocking.

Ashwin Dev Mr. Roddy IHSS 24 October 2018 Where Voting Matters - El Salvador The Salvadoran presidential elections are going to be held on February 4, 2019 with a second round in March if no candidate wins an outright majority. El Salvador has a limit for a single 5-year term which means that the current president,  Sánchez Cerén  will not be able to run for this election. This election is different from most in the past due to the new political parties law, which says that a single candidate from each party must be chosen before the date of the election. Sharing Economy- Luke

Luke Kirchner       After much thinking, I have realized that sharing economies can be created from almost anything. I decided to make create something about sharing home decor. This would include things like paintings, ornaments and other small things to decorate your house. One challenging thing that would need to be sorted out, would be the value of the objects. Art is very subjective and can be valued very differently by other people. The market would have to establish it self to truly assign a price to different pieces. This would be a great way to make some money off of pieces of art that usually aren't seen and this would allow the renter to spruce up their house.       An app would be used to connect people and would ask for necessary information.
