IHSS Blog: Your Sharing Economy

My sharing economy would be based on a “Capitalist and Democratic” economy, much like the United States is today. I would promote welfare for those who would be not able to financially support themselves. I would also encourage equal and fair trade between all countries of the world. Something that I would also put in effect would be; how business could be private or public, much like it is today. My economy would also have the ability to provide jobs, and support a growing GDP. In my economy, I would also provide financial support (not welfare) towards hospitals, which would help individuals who can not afford the hospital bills. I would make sure that supply and demand of a resource are at a steady median.This would make them not go above or below each other, which would make the average person be content. My economy would keep taxes at a steady amount, which the average citizen can afford, no matter what financial status. Overall, my economy would be made to help the average citizen with supply and demand, financial troubles, and welfare.

Ashwin Dev Mr. Roddy IHSS 24 October 2018 Where Voting Matters - El Salvador The Salvadoran presidential elections are going to be held on February 4, 2019 with a second round in March if no candidate wins an outright majority. El Salvador has a limit for a single 5-year term which means that the current president,  Sánchez Cerén  will not be able to run for this election. This election is different from most in the past due to the new political parties law, which says that a single candidate from each party must be chosen before the date of the election. Sharing Economy- Luke

Luke Kirchner       After much thinking, I have realized that sharing economies can be created from almost anything. I decided to make create something about sharing home decor. This would include things like paintings, ornaments and other small things to decorate your house. One challenging thing that would need to be sorted out, would be the value of the objects. Art is very subjective and can be valued very differently by other people. The market would have to establish it self to truly assign a price to different pieces. This would be a great way to make some money off of pieces of art that usually aren't seen and this would allow the renter to spruce up their house.       An app would be used to connect people and would ask for necessary information.
