My sharing economy would revolve around art supplies such as markers, pens, erasers, paper, etc. Many art supplies are purchased for one time use or aren’t utilized completely. Having a way to share could hopefully work to lessen art supply waste. This could be done through an app or website where you can trade out art supplies to others and receive any tools you need. For example, oftentimes people will purchase drawing notebooks only to use less than half of the pages. As long as the rest of the pages were still usable, the notebook could be traded out to others as long as all of the used pages are removed. Same would go for pens, paint, erasers, etc. This would be especially useful for people working on one-time projects. This could of course be utilized by anyone whether they are an artist or simply need a supply such as a highlighter for school. I think this would be an effective way to create a sharing economy.
