Thoughts on Engagement

My challenge project is on the topic of gun control. What I would like to do, is within our school, organize a walkout during the school day. This for us will raise awareness. But, while we are walking out, I will have flyers. These flyers will be from Nori Leder, who works for Lizzie Fletcher. The flyers will be a "fill in the blank" for our councilmen stating we want to change the gun laws, and we want it done now (or as soon as possible). I won't just hand out the flyers to those at our school, but to the people we pass on our route. We will ask them if they are interested in changing the gun laws, get their signature and fill in the blank, and then collect their response and keep going. If I can figure out a way to do it in electronic form that would probably be much easier.

Ashwin Dev Mr. Roddy IHSS 24 October 2018 Where Voting Matters - El Salvador The Salvadoran presidential elections are going to be held on February 4, 2019 with a second round in March if no candidate wins an outright majority. El Salvador has a limit for a single 5-year term which means that the current president,  Sánchez Cerén  will not be able to run for this election. This election is different from most in the past due to the new political parties law, which says that a single candidate from each party must be chosen before the date of the election. Sharing Economy- Luke

Luke Kirchner       After much thinking, I have realized that sharing economies can be created from almost anything. I decided to make create something about sharing home decor. This would include things like paintings, ornaments and other small things to decorate your house. One challenging thing that would need to be sorted out, would be the value of the objects. Art is very subjective and can be valued very differently by other people. The market would have to establish it self to truly assign a price to different pieces. This would be a great way to make some money off of pieces of art that usually aren't seen and this would allow the renter to spruce up their house.       An app would be used to connect people and would ask for necessary information.
